Windows for Archviz
I received some questions recently about 3D windows I use in my architectural scenes… As this is not a big deal and these windows models are very very simple, I am sharing them with all of you.
RESIZE THEM BY MOVING EDGES INSTEAD.
OPTIONAL (for V-Ray users) – Turn on/off bump map for glass to get/remove it’s gravity deformation
Download this 3D window frame in Rhino NURBS format for V-Ray and Fryrender and in general obj mesh format.
Download:

free Rhino NURBS model (fryrender).

Sorry Matus, but your obj link is broken, it seems.
Fixed… thanks! (One slash caused it not to work ;) )
Hi! I´ve been looking for an exterior scene just like the one you have made here. I´m designing some kid’s games and i would need some garden to place them, could you please please please share me that model?
Thanks, and congrat’s for the website, it’s excellent!
Hi
This was a commercial work, so I am not allowed to share this scene.
Best Regards
Matus
Too bad, but thanks anyway! We are hoping for some interior and exterior scenes.

Sometime, the good performance of a glass material is related to the render option, so can you share the visopt file o the most important values at least? tanks in advance.
Hey, two questions:
do u use bump in glass?
and the IOR is 1.55?
Best regards
Hi, Yes I do.
Äs stated in the description: “Turn on/off bump map for glass to get/remove it’s gravity deformation”
Correct, IOR is 1.55.

Is there any parameters or settings in Vray that affect the result of the glass? Like Environment / Refractions? I cant really get the same result as you have.
Thanks for sharing!
Adrian, set some HDRi image to Environment in V-Ray options, so You get nice reflections in the glass exactly as I got.
Hi Matus; your work is great!!! can I ask you to share the venetian blinds? i need it for my project. tnx so much. bye
