V-Ray for Rhino RealTime
We’ve been waiting for a very long time for this. Ladies and gentlemen, this is V-Ray for Rhino, including Realtime rendering. Hallelujah! :)
Proxy, bloom, glare, RT, DR, (plus DR for RT!!), fixed UI, and much more… In according to the latest information, V-Ray beta for Rhino will be released on Monday 21/09/2011 :) I hope so…

Very nice, when can the rest of us expect to see it? There is no mention of it on the Chaos Group site so I expect it is waaaay off in the distant future.

Will RT be GPU based or CPU? I recently upgraded my farm to more processing power, and wont be too happy if I have to upgrade again
Video is unfortunately disabled now from Youtube service. But as I have seen in it, the CPU was running at about 6%, so it means V-ray RT is GPU based.
So does this meant hat they have abandoned the update to 1.05.29? I was under the impression that they were going to update to a 1.49.01 similar to sketchup. Or do you think that they have dropped that all together in order to push us into GPU rendering?
This one is going to be much better than 1.49.01 in Sketchup :) Version similar to sketchup was under development (1.48.something), but by adding RT and proxies, it’s going to be straight V-Ray 2 :)

So Matus, any news about it? I’ve been checking a lot but nothing came out till now. Have you an idea where we are going to download it? where will it be uploaded, chaousgroup website? Are you sure it’s not been delayed?
Well… to be honest, I am quite sad because of it… it was supposed to be released on Friday, but in according to latest … I mean latest information (few hours ago) – it should be released on Monday morning :) Let’s pray together ;)

I heard that it will be release when Rhino 5.0 will be in final version, that is beginning of 2012.
