  10. Hello, i used your materials and created some 3ds Materials with the maps you included. , where did you get the maps and can i put them into my github account so it can be forked and improved by others?

So basically my question is: is it legal/OK to create 3ds Max Mental Ray Materials with the Included Images of your Materials and share them over github?

  11. With the product being a 3D scene, does that mean the if the product is the project files, or does that include static renders of said scene? I don’t intend for current work to be commercial, just want to check for future use. Thank you, great site!

  12. Hello :)

First of all this is a wonderful website with tons of features, congrats on that behalf. Now to the question: I have to realise a number of rendered scenes for a client, I understand from previous questions that it is ok to sell the renders but not the actual scene. If the client requests the actual scene from me but not in purpose of reselling it, rather make the modifications they choose, is it ok for me to pass it on to them? And on another point, some of these images I understand are to be used in some sort of catalog, not to be resold, just used for their own purpose, if this violates the Terms of Use, what are my options in order to continue using the resources on your website?

Thank you and keep up the great work! :)

    • Hi Valentin,

Images can be used in the catalog of course :) Our models can be used for personal and commercial projects.

It’s a bit different with 3D models themselves. I’m glad You are asking, anyway. In case You are not reselling this scene, but only giving the scene for some preview, You can use our models. (Your clients can download them for free anyway! :) )

      Hope this helps.

      Best Regards
      Matus

      • You are a lifesaver >:D<

Thanks for the quick reply, I read the Terms of Use about 7 or 8 times but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks again and I'll support this website however I can, including donating my own models if it's possible. (If it is, please let me know how)

        Have a nice evening,
        Valentin.

  13. Hi
I am starting my 3d visualisation little company.
    I make renders and animations.
I do not pass the actual files of the model to clients but only the images or the animation in an adequate format to be visualised, i.e.: jpg, pdf, tiff, avi, mp4, Etc.
So, can I use your models, materials and others?

    and

if a client eventually ask me to pass them the modelling file (containing your models and materials) can i do it?

I have red your FAQ but still some doubts remain for me since it is not specifically clear.

    Thank you

    great site
