As you all know, FlyingArchitecture reached 4000 fans on Facebook. Thank you all, my friends!
As a gift for you I created a special 3D model, made completely in Rhino. Model was made in Rhinoceros 5, I hope you all have this version installed on your computers ;)
This is what you can get from flyingArchitecture:
Check out this topic with lounge chair WIP images.
You can find all instruction how to download this model here.
Good luck! :)

Nice chair, Matus!
too bad I don’t have Rhino 5….
I can convert it to R4, if You win in the contest ;)
nice chair! Did you render in Rhino 5? If so what rendering engine?
Hi, thanks. It was modeled and rendered in Rhino 5 + V-Ray.
I’m anxious to try out vray for Rhino 5, I use Rhino4 + vray right now… where can I install a trial or get the appropriate vray?
You fabric looks great. How did you go about making the variance in the surfaces? TSplines? Or did you have multiple cross sections going around the roll? Did you model all the rolls differently? Either way, it looks amazing. I am currently trying to achieve better looking fabrics.
Hi Cole,
There are two links under the image. Click the first one to see my Forum post regarding this chair :) I explained what I did to achieve this result.
You can also optionally get this chair I modeled from my NURBS store: http://www.flyingarchitecture.com/store/35-sinus-lounge-chair.html
:) Have a great day!
