    Hi Matus!

In the previous Medusa Animation tutorial you mentioned that you utilised After Effects for Video Post Production, I wondered if you used the same software for your Still Renders and if so, any tips? I use Magic Bullet Looks and Photoshop for 99% Post prod, would I be wise to look at After Effects?

Love your Stills Gallery, nice style in all renders! :)

    Best regards

  2. Yes, I’ve used After Effects, but only because the product of this tutorial was animation. For everyday postproduction (still images) i use Photoshop only without any plugins.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to use After Effects for Still images, because Photoshop is much more intuitive and it’s User interface is more comfortable for stills editing.
So as a conclusion – Photoshop is for stills, After effects is for animations :)

    Hi Matus!

Sure thing, thanks for your explanation, I may try After Effects when the animation is completed, to maybe add some basic light effects to give a more polished feel.

Thanks again for your feedback! :)
