Let me ask you:
when I import the .vismat material then I have to load the atached jpg for difuse color and bump. But sometimes there is another purple image called “NORMAL”, how about this one? How I should use it?

  Just upload it as a bump map. Normal map is used in V-Ray for max normally, but can be used in VfR as a Bump.

      I usually use Box mapping… Rhino is not that far to use UV unwrap tool.

  Hello. Yes, that matters. Your V-ray is older than the V-ray, in which these materials were created in.

can i ask a copy of a free version of vray 1.49.1 for sketchup? i have downloaded it but a license is required and i have to uninstall the older version. in doing so, i tried to reinstall the older version but it was automatically deleted.

please help.

but maybe someone can help me with a problem I’ve had with the vray-material editor. I’m looking for an option to adjust the way materials are mapped onto the objects’ surfaces proportional to their area? Or do I have to explode every object and adjust it separatly?
