  2. How do i insert this material into my model

    • Hi EDA!
      Check out this image: http://goo.gl/f7R8m
It’s just importing a material into V-ray, nothing complicated :)

      Best Regards

      • hey admin.
what do you use plugin in Rhino,on left side, it write small scence and the mats ball list?

        • Hi XI!

          It’s not a plugin, it’s default V-Ray feature called “V-Ray Express” :)
You can turn it on this way:
          http://goo.gl/pPxd0
          1. Go to Tools > Toolbar Layout… a little pop up window “Toolbars” will appear. Go to File > Open
          2. Try to find this way as you can see in the image.
          3. In this folder you can find three TB files. Open the one called “VRay Express.tb”
          4. Check new toolbar added to Toolbar Window
          5. Now you can turn on any V-Ray toolbar you like :)

          Enjoy!

  8. Do you have roof material, I have search everywhere n couldn’t find it….thx berfore for all your vismat…

  9. Why these materials doesn´t work well in the Vray for SketchUp 1.49 as in Vray for SketchUp 1.05?
All materials i have are not renderized in the most recent version as well in the previous version. Do you know why?

  10. Ahoj Matus!

I got a question, sometimes, when I use materials and try rendered view in rhino objects that I applied material are textured in a way they will be in render but sometimes not. – Really a problem when I use glass material – in rendered view objects are not tranparent. Is there a way how to fix this? Any settings?

Thank you very much for a great source of info!

    Good job!

    Michal

    • Hi Michal,

it might be cause by it’s lost information of the folder location. try to refresh texture paths and it might work.

Well, regarding glass – the Vray materials have inverted opacity than Rhino viewport, it is easily visible when using alpha masks or PNGs with transparency. Unfortunately, there is no way how to make it work without changing Vray material…

      And thanks :)
