First of all, thanks a lot for this website, you’re making my life way easier!
the blocks are excellent, and so is the tutorial… nevertheless i still have a problem (who doesn’t!). I’ve downloaded most of your .visopt and .vismat , and tried to import them in my options or in the materials on vray for rhino… and it doesn?t work! it writes “failed to load options from file” and the materials come out as compeletely black or don’t loat (vray writes me: “Invalid ASGvis material file”.
any advice?

Hello, thanks for reporting. I already contacted ASGVIS Team, which is development team of Vray. As soon as they reply me, I will post you solution. :)

I have made exterior night render just once and it was not pretty-developped, so render took 22 hrs. Anyway I do not have it in my repository anymore.
Simon, it’s propably because you have an old v-ray version….
hi there…i am facing a problem that how come i cant even load the vismat file for 3ds max…i am a newbie here..
Hi! It’s happening because these materials are set for V-Ray for Rhino. They don’t work in 3ds max.
haha…its my fault that i didnt knew that…sorry.
sorry..i think i have a mistake here…now i only figured out that those materials are set for rhino…

Ive really fed up to meet 3dmax sources while I was searching rhino vray sources…
Everthing ok but I couldnt find shaggy carpet for rhino+vray scene…

Hi Justine.
The problem is in Your V-Ray version… Unfortunately, I cannot help You at all with this…. But You can try to upgrade Your V-Ray version, that might work :)

any body have been used these matrial in 3dsmax 200 vray exterior.please send me the setting.or full tutrioal.

Materials are created for V-Ray for Rhino and are delivered in .vismat extension. V-ray for 3DS Max is not able to import these.
