I am a beginner with Rhino and all of your models have been working awesome, so thank you. I have run into a problem today and I am sure it has to do with my limited knowledge of the program. I have downloaded a few of the NURBS models, I then extract the files, and then drag and drop the rhino file into my existing drawing. Everything was rendering great with full color until today when I went to fix a mistake and rerender and now all of the models I downloaded are grey. I could easily have done something, but I don’t know what. I downloaded again and inserted them in again and they are still grey. Any insight?
Well, I am sure the problem is in missing textures, so relocate them. OR the second option: go to V-RAY options, click GLOBAL SWITCHES and make sure Override Materials box is not checked.
hi admin. i downloaded some of your works which are nurbs but when i try to open it an error message appears. that is “invalid minor version” icould not understand what it means. what should i do?
hi everybody. although i have the latest rhino (v.4 sr9) i am not able to work with these nurbs. always appears “invalid minor version” error message. the interesting point is when i open an empty rhino and try to import one of this model, i can see it in the thumbnail but it still has the same error. could you please give me an advice, cause i do really want to work with them:)
Man, I really have no idea. All of these models open easy for me and for my friends as well…. Don’t you think there might be a problem with V-Ray version? What version do You have?
I think this might be a problem… If you do not have own licence to upgrade to the latest V-Ray version, try some Google search to get newer version and try it with that…
great…thanks
I don’t think the apple logo lights up. But yeah it looks great :P:)
Turn off the Emissive layer in Vray :) I didn’t realize that fact, I am sorry :)

Try to download latest versions of Rhino (now SR9) and V-ray for Rhino. That should work.
